Introducing Animoto for Photography

Animoto, the so-called “end of all slideshows”: An award-winning video creation platform that was originally designed in a New York -based office and another one in San Francisco, now being used by many people all over the world to produce funkier, fresher shows that not only look good but give a sense of professionalism as well. Aside from recreational purposes, recently Animoto has launched two programs, Animoto for Business and Animoto for Education. Animoto for Business aims to explore the benefits of Animoto in the business world, in presentations, previews, as well as the many other uses it could provide to a good business. In its Animoto for Education program, Animoto gives back, in a way, by offering the use of its service through many schools all over the world for free. That’s not all, though, for Animoto has made another program identified as “something for photographers to get really excited about”, called Animoto for Photography.

The Future Of Video Has Arrived

Animoto for Photography is not that far from Animoto for Business, for the reason that it is built on the same platform with it. Videos can still be e-mailed, be burned into a DVD and sold, or even distributed online via blogs, websites, social networks and mobile devices like what Animoto for Business offers; Animoto for Photography has only been slightly been modified with nifty and important features that photographers might find in handy. However, even with these somewhat minor adjustments, it makes a world of difference to the professional photographer who has always been looking for the perfect way to display his precious shots; finding a video creation platform with results that don’t look too old-fashioned, yet still retain a sense of being ahead of status quo, and at the same time attracting attention without overpowering the photos it has is no easy task. There are many video creation services out there, that’s for sure, but none of them can really seem to match up pound-for-pound with Animoto in terms of classiness, style, sleekness, usability and design.

The most basic advantage of photographers who have Animoto over those who don’t is pretty simple: you get more time for your photos, less time for designing, and you still come up with fantastic results. This advantage is quite important, as photographers need time to think about particular subjects and how to present them in a different light; and many photographers aren’t that good at designing their videos, and even if they are, it would take a long, tiring, and complicated process taking long periods of time just to match up to the quality of Animoto’s videos. In other words, it’s something close of a Godsend to those particular photographers that can’t be bothered about the slideshow design and just want to keep picture-snapping. It also gives them a professional-looking output without making them waste time learning about designing skills.

Photographers Don’t Have To Be Graphics Artist Too!

There are some photographers who don’t like designing; therefore, it doesn’t come as a surprise that there are also photographers who haven’t thought much about what background music they want while the video’s playing. Or, they’ve also might have thought of a particular song, but not necessarily one that compliments the array of photos or the category that they fit in. It’s sometimes hard to find the perfect fitting song for your photos, as some songs that you might have visualized might have a copyright over them, not allowing you to use them for your purposes that you would have intended. Here is where Animoto steps in, helping you with its extensive list of licensed music that can be used by anyone for their videos. They have been arranged in categories or genres like Pop, Rock, Metal, Singer/Songwriter, Classical, etc.

So what are you waiting for? Animoto has been used by several photographers such as Chris Baltazar, whose works have been featured The Knot and Destination I Do magazines, along with the book “Real Simple Weddings”; Vicki Taufer, an award-winning international photography speaker & co-owner of VGallery; and Donna Rayne, a portrait photographer. Rayne includes “I have shown a lot of my clients Animoto videosthat use their photos. Their reactions are amazing. Most of the mothers are crying within the first 30 seconds as they watch their children on my big screen in the studio. And, so far, every single one of my clients that has seen a video has wanted to purchase a copy. It has made a huge impact for my studio and sales.”
